AC/DC

AC/DC

When Marybeth was about 16 we went to see AC/DC in Montreal and when they came to Ottawa a few years age Marybeth, Shelby and I went. It was neat that 3 generations enjoyed the same venue.

Shelby was rocking and had some good moves while she laughed at mine..

Babes of Gr.8 Grad

This picture does not even do justice to the wildness that was our grade 8 graduation. Not only is it missing Shelby’s amazing high heel shoes covered in ring pops, but it’s missing the dancing and singing and laughing our heads off that went on once inside. My most vivid memory of the night was of one of my first slow dances ever, to Ed Sheeran’s The A Team. The reason this was so memorable was not the excitement of my first slow dance, but it was Shelby and our friends standing less then a foot away, with Shelby singing the lyrics to the song at full blast and making faces at me the whole time. The whole night was filled with our crazy dancing and, of course, singing at the tops of our lungs!
