Babes of Gr.8 Grad
This picture does not even do justice to the wildness that was our grade 8 graduation. Not only is it missing Shelby’s amazing high heel shoes covered in ring pops, but it’s missing the dancing and singing and laughing our heads off that went on once inside. My most vivid memory of the night was of one of my first slow dances ever, to Ed Sheeran’s The A Team. The reason this was so memorable was not the excitement of my first slow dance, but it was Shelby and our friends standing less then a foot away, with Shelby singing the lyrics to the song at full blast and making faces at me the whole time. The whole night was filled with our crazy dancing and, of course, singing at the tops of our lungs!

Shelbys’ Spirit Animal….Llama
Just in case you never heard Shelby complain about how her spirit animal is a Llama. I can hear her saying, ” no no, it couldn’t be a cute alpaca it has to be ugly Llama” and then quickly pull up a picture of how ugly Llama’s are and how cute Alpaca’s are.
Surprise
I remember when Shelby surprised me on my birthday, I blew up the mattress and then we just laid on it and took cute picures for a while.

I was visiting for a sleepover, we went through coopys costumes and picked some stuff out so the dogs would be fancy for pictures.
Poppy has a bow on her head and cooper is looking dapper in his bow tie. It was so nice to see Shelby and hang out mask-free. Face masks, laughs, movies and snacks. A typical michaela/ Shelby sleepover .

Granny teaching her grandchildren how to be as hip/trendy as her
The previous two videos are video evidence of how Granny influences, teaches and loves her grandchildren! Both videos I captured were of our family trip to Montreal for the Queen concert. How fitting… OUR queen teaching us how to rock out at the Queen concert! I think Shelby out did Granny with her singing and dance skills but she did learn from the best afterall!
Xox love you Shelby,
Alyssa
